Is a individual with a scholastic degree better for a job than an individual who has experience? I don't necessarily think so. If the individual with the degree can not validate that degree by the application of skills obtained in achieving that degree, I say experience is better. I would rather have a heart surgeon perform surgery on me that is experienced as oppose to one who is fresh out of school. The experience pays off when situations develop that call for immediate adjustments in procedure. An individual fresh out of medical school might pause one second to long and it could mean the loss of a life.
There are people who have degrees in ecology, but can't give a valid or believable reason relating to why fish are floating on the sea or birds are dropping out of the sky to their death. What good is the degree if you can't validate it? What is your thoughts on this?
